I live in Feluy Belgium, in a small village not far from Brussels with my wife Eve and our two Spanish greyhounds Lila & Joy. I started painting in February 2017 . Went to a private painting class as part of a small team learning different kinds of painting techniques locally in Seneffe – Belgium. Every 2 weeks we come together for an evening.

I also watched a ton of Youtube tutorials from different artists , my preferred artists are :  I like the paintings from John Singer Sargent, Andy Evansen , Gary Tucker, Edward Wesson, Edward Seago, Alvaro Castagnet, Tim Wilmot, Umberto Rossini. 

I also followed an excellent workshop of plain air painting with Gary Tucker in the Dordogne France and a workshop with Umberto Rossini in Belgium.

And I also paint from photographs I took or images I found on Pinterest. I don’t mind copying or re-creating existing work, always mentioning its source, it helped me learn a lot.

I’m an absolute beginner, still a long way to go, searching for a direction. I like landscapes seascapes; mountain scapes, city scapes and everything that has contrast, street scenes with shadows, etc.
